Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you travel for SESSIONS, PROJECTS, WEDDINGS?

I am open and available for traveling. In your inquiry, please include the location you are looking to book my photography services for and I will make sure to get back to you about an estimated cost based on location, travel fees, etc.

Travel fees may apply outside of Whatcom County.

2. Do you help with planning our session?

You bet! Depending on the type of session we are working on together, it will range from location or outfit recommendations to planning every detail regarding props on set, timeline and shot list, models, hair/makeup artist referrals, and more.

3. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

As a general rule of thumb, your session cost will include a non-refundable retainer to save the date and time we will be working together in my calendar. Depending on the type of service, your contract will clearly state the applicable cancellation and rescheduling policy. I will always be open to rescheduling given the circumstances and our signed contract.

4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

As of right now, all photos are delivered via a digital gallery. When you receive the link to your pictures, I absolutely encourage you to print them and display them on your walls. I am hoping to offer prints and/or albums in the future!

5. CAN WE MEET BEFORE THE SESSION?

When booking a portrait session, we will meet the day of as this is more sustainable for my calendar. Until then, we will communicate via email/text in my client portal.


For weddings, commercial work, or branding sessions, we will have timely written communication and set up a call/meeting to allow for thorough planning.

6. ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN COSTS?

No, there are no hidden costs that will surprise you. When you inquire and book a session with me, I will provide as accurate of a cost estimate as possible. Before our session, the full amount will be due so that we can be fully present and enjoy when the shoot takes place. With larger projects, estimates and invoices may work slightly different but my goal of transparency remains.

7. HOW LONG TILL I RECEIVE THE FINAL PHOTOS?

Once again, this depends on the type of session or project. Portraits sessions typically range from 2-4 weeks, while I maintain a 12-week deliverable timeline for weddings. Commercial/branding work will be set within their own timeline outlined in the contract.
